voyeur of the elderly
[ fabric & trim shop on broadway, nyc ]
what is this strange urge to take pictures of old men? especially the ones with big beards. eyes crinkly and twinkly, with niceness or crusty meanness, it doesn't matter. ah, there was one i could only capture in my head. at sunset by sunset blvd, an indian man standing on his chainlink-fenced front lawn, wearing an outfit of flowing white cloth, a giant frizzy beard as white as snow, and a turban. watering his lawn.
am i the one who's turning into the dirty old man? well, so be it.
