what the hell do they do all day?
the courtyard pin-up.
living the rad life. sniffing, staring, and rolling around.
this was the saddest sight this week. a fond farewell to herb's stamp shop. it was a musty little place around the corner from my old apartment where an elderly man named herb kept collections upon collections of stamps, postcards, envelopes, just amazing memorabilia that almost no one seemed to care about. he kept his shop open day in and day out, though i hardly ever saw a soul walk in. herb, i hope this isn't because you've left this earth. if you have, thank you for all the wonderfully beautiful gems i was lucky enough to discover at your little shop and may you rest in peace.

i was hoping for enchiladas and beer, but sadly they didn't serve alcohol there. it was just a nice holiday lunch with a couple bearded co-worker friends and a mustachioed abuelo, san fernando style.

little new
meet max the beautiful 12 day-old boy, and presley the dog.
we met up with the glowing new parents and finally met little max, who was dreaming away and looking so adorable. of course, there was fun talk about breast-feeding, hemorrhoids, placentas, and disneyland. and no, the last one isn't of us watching max's birth video; it was march of the penguins! welcome, welcome, welcome to earth, max. i can't wait to see you grow.
