garage gems: part 2
i think i'm hellbent on buying up any library furniture that i come across. this was a $20 danish library table at this killer estate sale (magazines not included).

garage gems
so, i've hit a few garage sales lately and have unearthed a few good things, i've gotta say.
this was a total fluke. we were driving by a gorgeous glendale craftsman house with a load of mid-century furniture strewn all over the lawn, including this sweet little daybed in near perfect condition. how can you resist teal and green?
a rad iron magazine rack with a glass top for $15. this silverlake sale was nothing but vintage items, mostly 50-60s. payload, man.
talk about striking gold. i found this convertible tote bag at that same sale for $4. it buttons up to form a little handbag. i'm not the flashy metallic gold wearing kind, but this had to be snatched.
my controversial buy of the weekend: zulu shotglass. the poor white woman is about to be dinner. just goes to show what was acceptable just around 50 years ago. that's not that long ago.

mickey champion at the living room, south central la. the lady sings the blues without a mike, walking around the bar, taking her own sweet time. absolutely amazing.
