campanile
it was a mid week trip to campanile for their weekly grilled cheese night. the building was amazing, built by charlie chaplin in 1929. everyone had their choice of gourmet grilled cheese, along with a taste of cheese fritters (aka fried balls of cheese) and an array of dessert that included a pear tartin and a blueberry brown butter tart. yes, tasted as good as they sound.

the croque madame: ham and gruyere with a fried egg.

my gorgonzola dolce with radicchio, spiced walnuts, and honey. great flavor combo. i only wished it was a bit more overflowing with oozing gooey cheese!
